| Subway Streetcar.
San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI) "Big 10" PCC car 1008 is seen working its way down Market St operating F Market & Wharves service. The car is an original Muni car, built in 1948 and painted in Muni "wings" scheme. Notably this is the only PCC car to have ever entered the Market Street Subway, having been outfitted with a pantograph and used for testing in 1977. The car was later converted to work service before being restored and reentering revenue service in 2012. |
