Arkansas Summer Daybreak | On the cool and humid morning of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, northbound empty CPKC coal train 863 approaches the Missouri state line just north of Sulphur Springs, AR. Led by a pair of Union Pacific motors, 863 was just emptied at the Flint Creek Power Plant, a part of Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO), near Gentry, AR and is headed back to Kansas City where it will be returned to the UP.
