Alco WDM3a #16376 hauled 11040 Gondia Kolhapur Maharashtra Express crossing the alco WDM3a #16013 Kolhapur Nizamuddin Express at Nandre. Now this section is completey doubled and electrified. Maharashtra Express is a longest distance covering train in the state of Maharashtra. The loco pilot can is seen exhanging the flag. In Indian Railways, the exchange of hand signals, primarily with green and red flags, is a crucial safety procedure. It's known as the "All Right Signal" and is used to confirm that a train is clear to proceed or to stop, and that all systems are go.
