The diesel-hydraulic railcar 19001.7 of the Bulgarian State Railways BDZ was built in 1960 by the Simmering-Graz-Pauker works in Vienna/Austria as a demonstration vehicle for branch lines, with two diesel motors of 265 Hp each, reaching 125 km/h. It was rather prone to breakdowns and was sold to BDZ in 1965. Since then it has been maintained in Bulgaria for special operations and has now been in service for 60 years, declared historic vehicle. For two days, the SERVRAIL travel group from Switzerland rode the vehicle, which has a small first-class compartment with 9 seats, a bar and a larger second-class compartment, on various BDZ routes. The train reached Pleven for a short stop, on the route from Kostinbrod to Gorna Orjahovica.
