Just days after shooting the NS OCS returning north from the Masters, ACWR was the next railroad to throw me a bone. After trailing on the inbound grain run, NS 1068 was flipped and assigned to the point of train 800 with the now empty train bound for Charlotte, NC and home rails.
Seeing Class 1 power on a shortline was definitely a treat, especially with another new heritage unit to me leading. And after shooting this, I thought things couldn't get much better. But the very next day, we would make this heritage speedrun a trifecta.
