A westbound RCPE train rolls through the hills of the Buffalo Ridge south of Lake Benton, MN. It used to require a good deal of luck to get a train out here in daylight, but with this train regularly running earlier than before, barring some delay caused by CPKC east of Tracy or some kind of anomaly, they seem to make it here almost every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday now. It's still a treat to see. Hopefully I'll get a few more opportunities before the rumored GE's arrive.
