| As more MACs got delivered, the BNSF used them on longer ore trains that ran out of Minnesota's Iron Range. Here a trio of MACs roll down the Aurora Sub with ore bound for Granite City. The train passes the classic ex-CB&Q ABS directional signals that controlled most of this trackage to St. Paul. These were replaced in 2015 with the coming of PTC.
