| Commuter Reds.
Metro-North Railroad P32AC-DM no. 208 is seen blasting out of the Park Avenue Tunnel with Hudson Line train 853 to Poughkeepsie, passing an inbound New Haven Line train of M8 cars. The locomotive sports a heritage scheme, nicknamed the "beachball" scheme, that was used on East of Hudson locomotives during the railroad's days as Metro-North Commuter Railroad - the scheme is still in use on the GP40 locomotives that make up part of the West of Hudson fleet. |
