Both empty and loaded ore trains on the 652-kilometer route in Mauritania usually also carry other wagons, usually at the front or rear of the train. Here we see the loaded delayed train “M6” from F'derîk to Nouadhibou at kilometer 404 between Choum and Ben Amira. Here there are empty water tank wagons, flat wagons and tank wagons for diesel/fuel oil in the rear. The train must have been a little less than 2 kilometers long.
