A Coos Bay Rail Link train, with 79 cars, arrives at the mill in Noti, 20 miles west of Eugene. This eastbound is powered by GP38s 3877 and 3876 (formerly Southern Railway 2813 and 2796) and GP38M 3802 (ex-Baltimore & Ohio GP40 3730). The train will pick up four cars and drop three empties and depart for Eugene with 80 cars. The two former Southern Railway diesels had their high short-hoods lowered (the "scar" is visible in this shot), but retained the control stand on the left side, so the engineer sits where the fireman/conductor is normally seated, and the conductor is in the right-hand seat!
