Union Pacific train MASLI-06 (Manifest; Alton & Southern Railroad to Livonia, Louisiana) has just diverted from the UP's UP Springfield Sub to the Alton & Southern as it heads south. Eighteen-year-old UP ES44AC 5294 is the only power for this long train, driving home the point that we are in the midwestern flatlands and not the Rockies or the Sierra Nevada.
