“Giruno” high-speed trains on the Gotthard mountain route are already history again. After more than a year, both tubes of the Gotthard Base Tunnel are back in operation and the fast passenger trains between north and south and vice versa are once again running on the fast route below. RABe 501 # 016 "Glarus" and # 009 "Zürich" of the SBB in multiple control ,running the IC 667 of the line IC21 from Basel via Lucerne to Bellinzona and Lugano, are on the Gotthard north ramp between Amsteg-Silenen and Gurtnellen, with the Chli Windgällen mountain in the background.
