| The Caboose Backs In | Freshly-restored Frisco caboose number 1291 eases into position at the Van Buren, AR depot on a cloudy Saturday, April 27, 2024. The pair of Alco C420s powering the train have just run around from bringing the train south and as brakes are applied, kids cover their ears. The passenger train has just completed the first portion of its Springdale-to-Van Buren run and will now take another group of people on a 3-hour trip to Winslow and back before returning to Springdale. |
