A quartet of Montana Rail Link SD70ACe helpers return from Elliston, MT to Helena after moving a westbound unit grain train over Mullan Pass (cut-in mid-train). Herds of cattle are not an uncommon sight in Montana with plenty making their late-summer range just west of the Continental Divide. They are completely at ease with the frequent trains but a photographer is still uncommon enough to draw their attention.
