| Re 420 # 161 (Re 4/4 II # 11161) and Re 420 # 158 (Re 4/4 II # 11158) of the SBB in multiple control pull the about 380 meter long 15 cars VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS (VSOE) 31367 of the Belmond company from Basel over the Gotthard mountain line to Chiasso. The train with luxurious cars of the 1930' goes from Paris/France to Venice/Italy. There is a 7 hours journey through Switzerland, including an about 1 hour stop in Rivera-Bironico. Re 420 # 161 is the only green locomotive of the passenger division. |
