| SUMMERFIELD TX Oct 8 1988 — Santa Fe SD45u 5428 rolls across the Texas Panhandle with a westbound mixed freight in tow. EMD delivered the unit in December 1966 as No. 1882. In the April-July general renumbering it became No. 5582. It was rebuilt in June 1980 and renumbered to 5428. Santa Fe retired the unit in March 1991. My photo. |
