The Roof [Was] on Fire: On Saturday, March 18, 2023, a small fire broke out on the roof of the westbound platform canopy at NJ Transit's Metuchen station. The Metuchen Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze. Here, a Trenton-bound Northeast Corridor Line train is seen pulling into the station as the fire crew inspects the canopy roof in the aftermath of the fire.
