Remarks & Notes

The P40s are some of the oldest units in the Amtrak fleet, but they're still going strong primarily in Auto Train service. A pair lead train 52 north through Ashland on a fall afternoon. Ashland is one of the few places that the whole consist of these trains can be seen.
