Remarks & Notes
This saddle tank engine known as a 0-4-0T ‘dinky’ was operated by the Great Western Sugar Company and was used to shuffle sugar beets into the processing plant. The design of the engine enabled the locomotive to operate in the vey humid environment of the sugar beet factory. This particular engine (#2176) was built in 1930 and moved from its original base at Loveland, Colorado to Fort Morgan, Colorado in 1976.
