| The Monday through Friday RS40 is seen heading eastbound on LIRR's mainline with cars for One World Recyling on the Central Branch. Even this scene has changed within the last year with concrete ties being installed on Mainline 1 and the switch on the Hempstead branch has been repositioned so eastbound trains stopping at the newly built Elmont station can switch over from Hempstead 4 to 2 and then switch to mainline 2 at the new "Park" interlocking which is located behind me. At least we still have the Pennsy signals, for now... |
