| CSX 5972 was one of two motors as the crew of CSX Y102 is on a spur off of the Eastover Sub in Columbia, South Carolina. The old GE has an unusual ancestry. Built as Conrail #5079, it went to Norfolk Southern initially after the split as NS #4810. CSX got it in a locomotive swap. It was then retired and was sold to the Maine Central. I am not aware of its current disposition. |
