On the weekend of May 21-22, 2022, the first anniversary event to celebrate 175 years of railroads in Switzerland took place, with events mainly in Olten and Basel. The iconic red arrow RAe 2/4 # 1001 of SBB Historic, built in 1935, was used for a shuttle service every half an hour between Olten station and the depot of SBB Historic. On the very first run of the day the RAe 2/4 # 1001 is on the way filled with expectant visitors.
