The blue hour has settled in over the Clark Fork Valley in far western Montana on the eve of February 4, 2022. Just west of Trout Creek, the lead locomotive of a westbound BNSF manifest freight lights up the inside of the rails on the curve approaching milepost 57 as light snow falls on Montana Rail Link’s Fourth Subdivision.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
