| "MIKA" RABe 528 # 202 (Flirt 4) of the BLS is on a test run from Sulgen to Romanshorn along the pond at Riedt near Erlen. This is the version for commuter services (S-Bahn) with 12 doors on each train side. The version for Regio Express services has 6 doors on each side, higher comfort in first class and 2 small "Bistros" (vending machines). The BLS ordered 30 RE (RABe 528 # 101 to # 130) and 28 S-Bahn trains (RABe 528 # 201 to # 228) from StadlerRail. They have 3500 kW, 160 km/h maximum velocity and are 105 meter long. |
