Some pigeons scatter as a southbound Grand Trunk Western freight rattles over one of the bridges spanning the Calumet Sag Channel into Blue Island, Illinois, on December 3, 1988. The truss bridge on the left is no longer being used and is cut off from the rest of the rail system.
