Amtrak 14, Starlight, has just completed it's station stop at the new (again) Tacoma Dome Station on the Lakewood sub. The station's name sake is in the background, while the train crosses the concrete double track trestle that replaced the historic Milwaukee Road S-Curve trestle. This is just the second time #14 has operated over this route (Pt Defiance By-Pass), with passenger trains taking another stab at the route just the day before.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
