The Nevada Southern State Railroad Museum offers a fun and unique experience to rail bike a 4 mile section of their line. An added bonus is a sunset cruise and ride back to the depot on their passenger train, shown here headed out to pick up riders just after sundown. Evenings in the desert can be quite magical. This line is significant in the fact that it was built in 1931 specifically to transport supplies and equipment for the building of the Hoover Dam project.
