"Dual Mode Under Westchester Ave"

On the afternoon of October 13th, 2021, Amtrak P32AC-DM #705, leads an ACSES Test Train eastbound under the abandoned NYW&B Westchester Ave Station on Amtrak's Hell Gate Line.

Westchester Ave Station was designed by Cass Gilbert & completed using terra cotta detailing in 1908. Service ceased in 1937, but due to the way the station was constructed, it still remains today, suspended over Amtrak's Hell Gate Line.
