Sitting side by side in front of the Helper, Utah Yard Office are these two EMD SD70ACe’s. On the right is UP 3027, an SD70ACe-T4 built in 2017 and just arrived at Helper with the MNYRO. To its left is the UP 8599, a plain-jane SD70ACe built in 2007. Many differences in their respective front end details are visible, ie. headlight placement, windshield shape, logo position, pilot plow shape, truck design, and details of the slanted part of the nose.
