With the second and third Tacoma Narrows Bridges looming in the distance, an afternoon Cascades skirts the shores of Puget Sound. Within the next few weeks, all Amtrak traffic should be re-routed to the new bypass away from the shoreline, leaving this the exclusive domain of BNSF freights.
