Remarks & Notes
As usual, there is L&N power up front on 214, a Cincy to NOLA train that was a combined effort between L&N and Western Railway of Alabama. That diamond-shaped concrete sign, however, is all West Point Route (WofA/Atlanta & West Point). This sign warns of the at-grade Southern crossing ahead, but the shape and material were used for hundreds (maybe thousands?) of whistle boards, stop signs, station signs, etc across the Atlanta to Selma line.
