Two Santa Fe trains pass at a combined speed of 140 mph, as the 198 train meets another of the railroad’s intermodal speedsters, raising dust of freshly-plowed farmland lining Santa Fe’s busy main line between Ancona and Leeds, Illinois, on May 9, 1992.
