Exactly 150 years after the inauguration ceremony of the first cogwheel mountain railway in Europe, from Vitznau on the shore of the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne) to the Rigi (exactly Rigi Staffelhöhe), there was a celebration for guests. Here the first of 3 trains with cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/4 # 1 from 1937 (when the line was electrified with 1500 V DC), shoving the "Belle Epoque" parlor car B # 10 from 1873, rebuilt in 1992 as saloon car.
