| Blasting through the first of three rock cuts, CSX Q582-07 led by the 3288 heads northbound to Nashville. The corparate colors of Blue and Orange contrast very well with the greenery from Spring. The heavy tonage train has just started its way up the grade where they will crest over at the Cumberland Mountain Tunnel just south of Cowan,TN. In Cowan the Cowan Pusher set will detatch from the train and give assistance to a waiting southbound G108 where they will ride back over the mountain. This rea being a vital chokepoint on the Subdivision it's important the heavy trains receive the help they need to keep America moving by one railcar at a time. |
