Remarks & Notes
This large boiler with a weight of approx. 25 tons was built in Lima/Ohio/USA in 1945. It belongs to the 2-8-2 "Mikado" steamlocomotve 141 R # 73, which was delivered to the french SNCF and nearly 30 in service. Withdrawn in 1974 and privately owned now, the boiler was loaded in Winterthur on a flat car for the transport to Vallorbe to the new owner.
