Union Pacific EMD SD70M No. 4831 is having its No. 5 wheel set/traction motor assembly replaced at UP’s Kansas City Locomotive Facility in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 21, 2013. After removing the old axle, a new wheel set/motor assembly is carefully raised with the single-axle drop table on the wheel track at the well-equipped facility.
