Remarks & Notes
A view from the mountain to the station Realp DFB and the new car shed in the background. In the foreground right are the tracks of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGBahn) in Realp station, with a cab car of the car transport train through the Furka base tunnel to Oberwald. On track 1 of Realp DFB we can see stabled cars of the "diesel train", lightweight cars of the former Brig-Visp-Zermatt-Bahn, now owned and operated by the DFB for the "hikers train", pulled by diesellocomotive HGm 4/4 of the MGBahn. Although on track 1 is diesellocomotive Gm 3/3 "Moyse" # 233, former Rhaetian Railway, now purchased by the DFB for shunting duties in Realp. The foremost vehicle is the diesel snow blower "Schleuderina" Xrot m # 9216 former Rhaetian Railway, built by RACO and Beilhack in 1958. On track 3 are two more "Moyse" dieselocomotives Gm 3/3 # 231 and # 232. The orange diesellocomotive more in the background is Gmf 4/4 # 90 of the Furrer and Frey company, which is the former "Faur" built CFR 87-0023-9 from Romania, purchased in 2014.
