| Artery. A Red Line train to 95th races down the median of the Dan Ryan expressway. The roadway is one of the city's main arteries from the suburbs and a campaign recent to when the photo was taken nicknamed the Red Line the "Blood Line," in an effort to replenish the city's blood supply by staging blood drives at Red Line stations. |
