Remarks & Notes
Empire Domes? On December 25, 2020. Amtrak P32AC-DM 716 was working a yard assignment at the Albany-Rensselaer, New York station. Both Webb Rail former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/sleeper 313 (WEBX 801044) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome/coach 549 (WEBX 801045) would be shoved back onto the Lake Shore Limited (Train 49) for the departure to Chicago, IL, but for a moment it gave a great view of what may have been with a Phase III unit and a pair of NPs! A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
