Deadlines always fascinate me for some reason, especially when they are filled with machines that aren't that old. They're just machines, right? But each one has stories it could tell, of long nights with tired crews, battles over mountains and weather, and skilled operators expertly handling massive amounts of tonnage over and over again.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
