It Happened. On the night of Wednesday, January 6, 2021, former Adirondack Railway Corporation 25 (Alco RSC2) (née-Seaboard Air Line # 1531 in 1949) sits on a siding adjoining the Remsen Depot in Remsen, NY. All of you working together, including Genesee Valley Transportation Co., Inc., Utica & Mohawk Valley Chapter, NRHS, Over The Top Construction, CSX, Remsen Depot www.remsendepot.com, ALCO Historical & Technical Society, Adirondack Railroad, the Utica Children's Museum and everyone else who donated or shared photos or time or just general support should be proud that you were able to pull all of this together in such a short period of time. You can now go visit the Remsen Depot any time you would like (while being respectful of their hours) and see the history of the area preserved for this and future generations to experience.

Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
