This morning, I heard that the NS 8025 was leading a westbound a coal empty out of KC on the St. Joe Sub, and with nothing to do today, I decided run out and make a day of it. The light isn't especially great for westbounds in the winter, but I lucked out up here.
Here, the train is rolling past the ice-coated bluffs near Nodaway, MO, mp 77 on the line.
