Remarks & Notes
Two SEPTA commuter trains pass each other on the agency's Paoli/ Thorndale line, which is part of Amtrak's Keystone Corridor, a line that stretches from Pittsburgh, PA to Philadelphia. Built by the Philadelphia & Columbia Railroad, this stretch of track was later acquired by the Pennsylvania Railroad and four tracked, with electrification (still standing) erected in 1930. Stations on this part of the line are rather closely spaced - the outbound train is arriving at Haverford station (9.1 miles from 30th Street in Philadelphia) while the inbound train is approaching Ardmore station (8.5 miles from 30th Street Station).
