| Catenary pole shadows point both in the direction of travel for this eastbound Acela Express and the junction for which this former railroading town is named. The junction seen to the right but no loner surviving to the left joined the Camden Amboy Railroad line from Kingston, the Pennsylvania Railroad, New York to Philadelphia, and the Jamesburg and Freehold Agricultural Railroad. Photo taken from the "New Road" overpass. Midway tower is located just behind the photographer. |
