Nope, not a model railroad but a charter operated by the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts group from Meredith to Lochmere, NH on the Plymouth & Lincoln Railroad's Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad. PLLX SW1001 1590, Ex-CITX 1590, exx-NS 2107, exxx-Conrail 9418, nee-Reading 2618 was the south unit while the PLLX SW1000 1012, Ex-LTEX 1012, exx-BNSF 3631, nee-Burlington Northern 438, was the north unit, as seen rolling over the causeway between Chattle and Moulton Coves.
Beautiful mountain scenery has made this small state a draw for rail buffs to ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway and the Conway Scenic, among others.
