| October 17, 2020. Last run of Nevada Northern Railway's Locomotive # 40 before she is taken out of service for her 1472 rebuild. Locomotive # 40 and # 93 run up the grade approaching Lackawanna crossing. Incidentally, this is the longest passenger train in recent memory and # 40 needs help from # 93 on the steep grades up to Ruth. The rebuild should take about 2 years. Steve Crise Photo.
