Two months ago the Cameron Peak wildfire on the Colorado - Wyoming boarder had ignited, carrying smoke into Wyoming and providing a surreal looking sky for UP 2574 (ET44AH) as it brought a freight through the signals at Hermosa, WY. The fire has now grown to be the largest in Colorado history, burning over 200,000 acres, with no end in sight. Only mother nature will be able to extinguish this fire with a large snowfall, hopefully coming soon.
