| Chuffing and barking like an Alco, war wagon Dash 8 MEC 7561 leads the 7855 with the “XO-1” today with 31 cars out of Hoosick Junction as it curves towards the CPF 468 interlocking(former “XO”) for Mechanicville Yard. The “XO-1” local runs as needed based out of Mechanicville and serves the west end of the D3 system. The sun is dropping quick as fall officially begins this week and the days now begin to shorten dramatically by late September. The crew met intermodal train 22K at CPF464 earlier before crossing the Hudson River Bridge on a warm and humid afternoon. |
