TVRM 100 leaves East Chattanooga with Southern 4501 on the point as Engineer Andrew Durden continues to warm & blow out the cylinders, which takes a hot minute on this engine due to it just being a "wet engine" despite the superheaters. Why is it a "wet engine" you may ask? Because steam engines, that's why. No other explanation needed. |
