Hawthorne is the location where the BRC Kenton Line and the CN Freeport Sub cross. After working Best Foods, the BRC's NOSI industrial job heads for the next location of Home Products in Chicago, as its MP15AC clanks across the diamonds with the former Illinois Central. The BRC sees a number of trains here on a daily basis, while traffic on the CN is much more scarce. The NOSI job runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays out of Clearing Yard and switches various industries around Chicago and Cicero. If you like BRC MP15's, this is the train for you.
